Julie Howard is the President of writing community Spill the Beans Inc and the author of Nowt But Drippin a novel set in Yorkshire in the 1960s.
In November 2022, she received an award from The Society of Women Writers ,for her short story ‘Recipe for Wives and Sisters’ .
Her published short stories include: Antarctica, Spiny Anteater, A Bit of a Boob, Heaven, Hell and Purgatory, One Door Closes, and Irene Bursts Her Bubble.
Julie was Principal of the Educational consultancy Leading and Learning, General Manager of the Peer Support Foundation, Head of Education at the Australian Museum and a lecturer at Macquarie University. She has taught in the UK, Australia, Canada and the USA.
Writing, education, singing, bushwalking, travel and her family, are her passions.
