maria issarisMaria Issaris is a journalist, editor and community media specialist, researcher and writer. She has worked in community media for the past 15 years. During that time she also founded and was editor of an independent regional newspaper, and was the Editor and a journalist for Ethical Investor Magazine (specialising in sustainable technologies and ethical business practices). Her program New Voices, features new writers being interviewed and critiqued by complete strangers.

Maria is also the founder of audiobooks producer audiobooks@radio which enables Australian authors to publish their work as an audiobook.

Maria has a Master’s degree in English Literature from Sydney University, and has worked on management and communication contracts in Qantas, Nine Network and several not-for-profit organisations, including CEO for the Royal Australian Historical Society.
