Our February 2023 MeetUp was a great group of people and ideas.
Jim’s book boxes (for local authors to put books in cafés) is a wonderful project and hopefully will expand across Sydney. We’re hoping to put more details about it on this site soon.
Patrick’s AI-animated book characters were also fascinating and a great idea for book promotional material. It’s a really great example of how digital tools are helping authors DIY different aspect of self-publishing.
We’re also going to arrange an additional MeetUp (not yet sure if via Zoom or in-person) to discuss the planned literary magazine. If anyone has any ideas – and we still need a title/name for it – please chime in!
