Losers Blame


Man raised his quill,
Swelled his chest,
Head drunk with vanity,
And inscribed his wisdom:
Solidarity is only for god,
Man was never made for aloneness.
God shrugged and smiled
As if the gift of awareness
Had been squandered.
One morning
After a lunar eclipse,
A breeze whispered:
If you are a man,
Find a woman within,
If a child, a sage gazes back.
Find the muse.
River and ocean unite,
Valley and desert embrace.
Moon, sun and earth
Hand in hand feed the olive tree
Its milk for us to taste the cosmos.
God even resides there.
A man who does not know,
Yet boasts of knowing,
Remains lost
For he cannot see
The void is a fool’s world.
Nonexistence also exists.
When you are found,
The search for solitude is vain.
God is not alone.

Los perdedores culpan.
El hombre alzó su pluma,
Infló el pecho,
La cabeza ebria de vanidad,
E inscribió su sabiduría:
La solidaridad es solo para dios,
El hombre nunca fue hecho para la soledad.
Dios se encogió de hombros y sonrió
Como si el don de la conciencia
Hubiera sido desperdiciado.
Una mañana
Después de un eclipse lunar,
Una brisa susurró:
Si eres hombre,
Encuentra a la mujer dentro de ti,
Si eres niño, un sabio te observa.
Encuentra la musa.
Río y océano se unen,
Valle y desierto se abrazan.
Luna, sol y tierra
De la mano alimentan el olivo
Con su leche para que gustemos el cosmos.
Dios incluso reside allí.
Un hombre que no sabe,
Pero presume de saber,
Permanece perdido
Porque no puede ver
Que el vacío es mundo de necios.
La inexistencia también existe.
Cuando te encuentres,
La búsqueda de soledad es en vano.
Dios no está solo.
