Crash Course on Globalisation

Infect the world
With a pandemic of fear.
Jab society
Into a docile herd.
Silence the defiant
With ridicule.
Drown the rest
In selfishness and greed.
The final stroke:
All must go online.
Disperse modern lies.
Congratulations.
Humanity disposed.
Anarchy in place.

****

I hear birds chirping.
The sun warms my heart.
Tired of this game?
Pause. Notice. For God’s sake.
If you smile, I smile back.
If you don’t,
I keep smiling.
For those who forget:
Only humans smile.

Curso Intensivo sobre Globalización

Contagia el mundo
Con una pandemia de miedo.
Inyecta a la sociedad
Hasta convertirla en un rebaño dócil.
Silencia al disidente
Con ridículo.
Ahoga al resto
En egoísmo y codicia.
El golpe final:
Todos deben conectarse.
Dispersa mentiras modernas.
Felicidades.
Humanidad desechada.
Anarquía instaurada.

---

Oigo pájaros cantar.
El sol me calienta el alma.
¿Cansado de este juego?
Pausa. Observa. Por Dios.
Si sonríes, te devuelvo la sonrisa.
Si no,
sigo sonriendo.
Para quienes olvidan:
Solo los humanos sonríen.
